Hi Josh,

Thanks for stopping by!
The mosquito is a beaut.
That reminds me, I want to get a category for showing of final work like this, as well as in-progress projects.
Can you share anything about how you set up the glass materials and the lighting/rendering?
The colors in the shadows are nice.

3ds Max / 3ds Max
« Last post by deep4di on December 21, 2011, 09:55:08 PM »
Max is kind of a bear of a program. It can be tough to learn, especially if you are new to 3D.

Believe me I know, having worked hard to become a Certified Autodesk 3ds Max Instructor.

As with Photoshop, I don't know everything about Max, but enough to get the job done, which is what counts.

Hopefully this board will grow into a place to come and get over some hurdles you way to making Max bend to your will.  ;D

Photoshop / Let's get started with Photoshop
« Last post by deep4di on December 21, 2011, 09:50:22 PM »
Hi guys,

I am an Adobe Certified Instructor in Photoshop. I've been teaching Photoshop for about 10 years, and used it before that when I was working as a designer.

That doesn't mean I know everything about Photoshop, but if anybody gets stuck, I might be able to nudge them in the right direction.

If enough people jump on this board, we can all help each other learn.

See, I'm an idealist.
