Restate your problem into a positive, dynamic statement
Example: I will make a fantastic portfolio that really shows my stuff.

Exploration: What inspires you to start?
What jump-starts your creativity? What situations and actions support your creativity? What rituals or triggers support your creativity? What gives you traction to start?
Examples: A walk in the park, breathing deeply, organizing my work space, certain music, lighting a candle, organizing some notes, the smell of oil paint, tuning my guitar, etc.

What situations are causing problems with your creativity?
Examples: Procrastination, flitting, creative ADD, anxiety, internal resistance, chaotic home life, money worries, lack of supplies, lack of faith or self-belief.

What specific problems are hanging up this project?
Examples: I need motivation, I need a reason to move forward, I need a partner, I need specificity, I don’t have needed equipment, I need training, etc.

Define the project more!
Examples: It’s a video, a web site, a blog, a painting, an organized creative life … what kind of video, what kind of web site is it you are creating? Get as specific as you can.

How do I know if I am successful?
Examples: I get paid, people are talking about my project, I am getting hits, people are seeing my work.
